What does Certeria concern?
Falconry is an activity that is increasingly being adopted by wineries. It consists of controlling harmful fauna using Harris's hawks , also known as falcons, mixed sparrowhawks or red-and-black hawks.
This technology is used, for example, in airports, since a bird hitting an airplane turbine can be very dangerous.
Hawks control the presence of birds and some small rodents in the vineyards and it is an eco-friendly practice.
The eagles are trained to be able to go out every morning to hunt fauna that may affect the vineyard.
Their nature is precisely to be hunters, however, their training is not so complicated because they are known as sociable birds of prey, that is, they can easily coexist with others of their species and adapt to contact with human beings .
